Hardware Technician
This is a full-time position in Longmont, CO that needs to be filled immediately. This entry level position requires basic electronics concepts and theory, lab test equipment knowledge, ability to collect data and accurately report results.
Experience Required:
- Command of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, protocol analyzers, etc.
- Testing hardware systems
- Experience running FPGA synthesis tools
Duties on the Job:
- Perform all operations necessary to test, align, and troubleshoot a variety of modules at the component level.
- Execute design validation test and qualification of electronic equipment.
- Be responsible for technical documentation, correspondence, and communication.
Internship for EE students:
IntelliProp is seeking strong individuals who are self motivated to be part of the development team for storage electronics. The successful candidate should have EE/CMPE background, familiarity working in a lab environment with lab equipment, and object oriented or aspect oriented programming skills. Candidates will participate in design discussion, sustain existing products and perform product bring-up and verification. Good communication skills and capacity to follow directions is essential.
ASIC Engineer Position:
We are looking for an outstanding and dynamic professional to join our growing development team that is building the next generation of chip sets. You will be a key contributor to our development efforts, including FPGA and custom ASIC designs.
You should be an exceptional verification engineer with a strong background in FPGA and ASIC design, able to see the "big picture", with excellent analytical and presentation skills, a strong record of fast and effective development, and exceptional ability to take the lead in solving problems. You should have a broad knowledge of system and communications principles, coupled with the desire to apply those skills within the framework of solid engineering practice and discipline.
Specific Responsibilities
- Verification of complete ASIC/FPGA System-On-Chip
- Creation of a System Level simulation environment
- Test case development
- Investigation of new verification techniques such as Transaction Based Verification (TBV) and Assertion Based Verification (ABV).
- Application of verification languages such as Specman e, SystemC and SystemVerilog for testbench environments and knowledge or experience in some or all of the following areas:
- ASIC design flow from concept through tape-out, including logic design, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, formal verification, and working with foundries
- Hardware/software co-simulation
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with embedded system design and co-simulation techniques
- Experience with VHDL, Verilog, C/C++
- Object oriented and/or aspect oriented programming skills
- Experience with ModelSim simulation environment to write large self-checking test benches
- Wired and wireless data communication and protocols
- Clear, concise, and complete documentation
- Demonstrated ability to motivate self
