San Jose, CA, April 25, 2006 — IntelliProp, Inc. (IntelliProp),
a leading supplier of reusable Intellectual Property
(IP’s) cores, associated design services and semiconductor
products brought its
CE-ATA products to the industry’s first CE-ATA
Plugfest in Milpitas April 25-27,
2006.
IntelliProp has been developing its CE-ATA products
since early 2005 and
has completed development of the CF+ to CE-ATA/MMC bridge
device named
“Coronado” and an ATA to CE-ATA bridge device
known as “Aguada”. Coronado
and Aguada have been designed to facilitate the adoption
of CE-ATA storage
devices by both host and storage product suppliers. IntelliProp
also offers
development boards in both host and target configuration.
These development
boards are currently available to organizations interested
in developing CE-ATA
focused products.
IntelliProp’s CE-ATA products are being
used by suppliers of both host and
storage CE-ATA solutions. Five evaluations are currently
underway with several
additional engagements scheduled for the 3 rd quarter of
2006.
The objective of the CE-ATA Plugfest is to bring market
leaders in the CE-ATA
industry together to ensure interoperability among their
CE-ATA products.
Through extensive testing, both host and device providers
can advance the
maturity of the CE-ATA specification as it becomes
the interface of choice for
mobile storage applications.
