IntelliProp Showcases SATA Cores at SATA-IO Plugfest

Milpitas, CA, April 14, 2010 — IntelliProp, Inc., a leading storage IC design services company has completed showcasing its line of SATA Cores at the most recent SATA Interoperability Plugfest.  IntelliProp is pleased to report that its SATA Host and SATA Device Cores were successfully tested with leading drive and host system manufacturers at the 13th SATA-IO Plugfest which was held in Milpitas, CA from April 12-14, 2010.  IntelliProp’s SATA Cores, available for ASICs or in Xilinx, Altera, and Lattice FPGAs devices were tested at speeds of 1.5 GHz/s, 3.0 GHz/s, and 6.0 GHz/s.  IntelliProp was able to verify its SATA cores with the next generation of products from industry leaders and in so doing, “we are confident our Cores meet or surpass industry expectations in regards to speed and reliability” stated Benjamin Fell, Senior Digital Design Engineer at IntelliProp.  Mr. Fell also stated that showcasing at SATA-IO was “a way for IntelliProp to demonstrate its commitment to offering the best in class designs to its customers.  By completing testing at the SATA Plugfest, we go beyond required on site testing and can further assure our customers that IntelliProp’s SATA Cores will meet the needs of even the most demanding military, avionics, and other time critical customers”. 

The SATA Plugfest is an opportunity for leading manufacturers to test Serial ATA products and assure developers and customers of their interoperability prior to market entry.  A member of the SATA-IO committee since its inception in 2004, IntelliProp supports the testing and deployment of serial technology for the benefit of end-users and the storage industry.
