SATA RAID Bridge Solutions
IntelliProp Bridge Solutions
As part of its continued expansion and dedication to delivering best-in-class solutions for the Storage Industry, IntelliProp has developed the following storage bridge products.
IPR-SA300SB: SATA Speed Bridge
The IPR-SA300SB design provides SATA compliant connections to a SATA Host and SATA Device. The host and device connections are speed independent allowing for speed bridging on the SATA connection. Internal visibility to frame contents allows the customer to intercept, analyze, or manipulate frames on the SATA connection.
IPR-SA200BR: SATA Speed Bridge with Sandbox
The IPR-SA200BR design provides provides SATA compliant connections to a SATA Host and SATA Device. The host and device connections are speed independent allowing for speed bridging on the SATA connection. Internal visibility to frame contents allows the customer to intercept, analyze, or manipulate frames on the SATA connection. The Sandbox feature of the SATA Speed Bridge allows customers to implement their own value added logic.
IPR-SAR300BR: SATA RAID Bridge
The IPR-SAR300BR is an integrated circuit that manages physical disk drives as a single logical unit. The IntelliProp SATA RAID Bridge is a non-processor based design that performs RAID 0 and RAID 1 operations, and provides SATA functionality with support for 2n number of drives. The IPR-SAR300BR is a hardware only device and does not require Firmware. It is perfect for off-computer storage applications or internal RAID solutions. Request datasheet...>
IPR-SAR300N: SATA RAID Bridge with NCQ support
The IPR-SAR300N is an integrated circuit that presents multiple physical SATA storage devices as a single logical unit. The IntelliProp IPR-SAR300N is a processor based design with a hardware RAID-0 engine that accelerates data read and write commands, and provides SATA functionality with support for 2, 4, or 8 drives. All data transfers through the IPR-SAR300N are handled with the hardware RAID engine, while non-data and OEM specific commands are handled with the embedded processor and firmware code. With Native Command Queuing support, very high throughput is achieved with the IPR-SAR300N. Support for Data Set Management commands, and specifically the TRIM command, ensures volumes built with Flash based SSD’s maintain optimum performance levels. Support for 6GHz SATA link speeds allows system performance to approach the theoretical maximum SATA bandwidth with IPR-SAR300N.

IPR-SAYY200BR: SATA “Y” Bridge
The IntelliProp SATA "Y" Bridge design (IPR-SAYY200BR) provides SATA compliant connections and a standard SATA interface to access drive data as well as a direct access port for high speed data storage or retrieval. The SATA host port and the direct access port are selectable via a port select pin. The direct access port, host and device connections are speed independent allowing for speed bridging to the SATA connections. Request datasheet...>
IntelliProp Device Solutions
IPR-PMSA300F: SATA Port Multiplier
The IntelliProp SATA Port Multiplier design provides SATA compliant connections to a SATA host and up to 15 SATA devices. The host and device connections are speed independent allowing for speed bridging on the SATA connections. The SATA Port Multiplier allows a SATA host system that is port multiplier compatible to communicate with up to 15 SATA drives. The IntelliProp SATA Port Multiplier is compatible with legacy SATA host systems. Request datasheet...>
IntelliProp Protocol Bridge Solutions
IPR-AG100F (Aguada): ATA to CE-ATA Bridge
The IPR-AG100F ("Aguada") is an integrated circuit providing bridging functionality between an ATA or IDE compliant host device and CE-ATA or ATA-on-MMC target devices. The CE-ATA interface of the Aguada is compliant to the industry CE-ATA specification for a host device. The MMC-ATA interface of the Aguada is compliant to the industry MMC-ATA 4.0 specification with the additions for ATA over MMC for a host device. The IDE interface is compliant to the industry ATA specification for a target device supporting PIO and UDMA transfers up to UDMA133. The intervening logic in the Aguada translates and controls command and data flow between the ATA (IDE) host system and the CE-ATA or MMC-ATA compliant device. The Aguada is a low power device, and requires minimal external components. Request datasheet...>

IPR-CO100F (Coronado): CE-ATA to CF+ Bridge
The IPR-CO100F ("Coronado") is an integrated circuit providing bridging functionality between a CE-ATA or ATA-on-MMC compliant host device and a CF+ (True IDE) target device. The CE-ATA interface is compliant to the industry CE-ATA specification for a target device. The MMC-ATA interface of the Aguada is compliant to the industry MMC-ATA 4.0 specification with the additions for ATA-on-MMC for a target device. The CF+ interface is compliant to the industry CF+ (True IDE mode) specification for a host device. The intervening logic in the Coronado translates and controls command and data flow between the CE-ATA or MMC-ATA host system and the CF+ compliant device. The Coronado is a low power device, and requires minimal external components. Request datasheet...>
